What it does
It softens dry ends, smooths them, and adds shine. The lengths are the oldest part of your hair and the part the scalp's own oil reaches last, so they are the first to go dry and dull. This puts a little of that oil back, morning and night, and at night leaves it there till morning.

How to use it
Morning and night, warm half a dropper between the palms and work it through the mid lengths and ends. Avoid the roots. Nothing to rinse. Half a dropper twice a day is the dose: the bottle is about thirty days.
Why not the roots
The scalp has its own step, Crown Drops. Oil at the roots weighs hair down and sits on the scalp, which is what people mean when they say an oil made their hair greasy. Keep this to the lengths and the ends, where it is wanted.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. This exact formula is sold as a face oil, and its seven ingredients are what a face oil is made of, which is the standard we hold a hair oil to. A drop pressed into dry cheeks after your usual routine is fine. We sell it for the ends because that is where it does the most for the way you look in the morning.
Is it fragrance-free?
No. It carries a little frankincense oil (Boswellia carterii), which gives it a quiet resin scent. There is no added fragrance beyond that. If you are sensitive to essential oils, patch test first.

Jojoba is a liquid wax that sits closer to the skin's own sebum than any other plant oil, which is why the ends take it in rather than wearing it.
Light, and it stays
Plant-derived squalane, the light emollient that does not go greasy, so the ends are softer at breakfast and not only shinier at bedtime.
Calm for the skin it touches
Two soothing extracts, there for the skin along the hairline and the neck the ends brush against all night.
