Nobody explained what changed underneath.

Around your forties, estrogen begins to fall. Estrogen is part of what tells skin to keep rebuilding. So the creams did not stop working. The skin underneath them changed, and no version of the same routine was going to keep pace.

See the serum The 60 Day Skin Test. If it stings, pills under makeup or simply does not suit you, we refund you. Sixty days from the day it arrives.

PDRN Skin Longevity Serum. One lightweight layer, morning and night.

Reason 01 of 05

Your skin changed. Your routine did not.

That is not a discipline problem, and it is not the lighting in your bathroom.

Skin changes slowly from your twenties onward. That part is just aging, gradual enough that you never feel it happening.

Then perimenopause arrives and the slow decline steepens. Less of the scaffolding that holds skin firm. Less of the hyaluronic acid that holds water. A barrier that stops holding moisture the way it always did.

Which is why the moisturizer sinks in and vanishes. Why the bounce left. Why the product you trusted for a decade seems to sit on the surface doing nothing. It is not bad lighting and it is not a lack of discipline.

The products did not fail. The thing they were designed to work on changed.

Reason 02 of 05

What PDRN actually is, in plain words.

If you have never heard of it, that is not a gap in your knowledge. Almost nobody explains this part.

PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide. It is a fragment of DNA, and the version used in skincare is derived from salmon, because salmon DNA is unusually close to human DNA in structure.

In this formula PDRN is paired with peptides and multi weight hyaluronic acid in a lightweight base that absorbs without leaving a film. What most people notice first is comfort and the look of hydration, and that is the honest place to start.

In this serum PDRN sits alongside peptides and multi weight hyaluronic acid, in one layer rather than three steps. Multi weight matters because different molecular sizes behave differently, so skin feels hydrated for longer, not just immediately after applying.

Reason 03 of 05

Salmon DNA sounds strange. We know.

You are right to ask, and the answer is duller than whatever you are picturing.

It is a fair reaction, and it deserves a straight answer rather than a line folded into an FAQ. It is a purified DNA fragment, not fish oil and not an extract of flesh. The serum is fragrance free and has no scent of its own.

What it is honest to expect, and when

Skin turns over slowly. Anyone promising a transformation in a week is selling you something other than skin biology. Here is the real shape of it.

Swipe week by week, five cards

Week 1

It absorbs and disappears. No film, no tack, no fragrance, and makeup goes straight over it without pilling. By about day four skin feels softer to the touch.

Why to keep going: nothing looks different yet, and it should not. This week you are building the habit the rest of it depends on.

Week 2

Skin that used to feel tight after cleansing stops feeling tight. That is the multi weight hyaluronic acid holding water at more than one depth.

Why to keep going: this is where most people quit, because hydration is easy to dismiss as nothing. It is the first honest signal that the layer underneath is responding.

Week 4

One full skin renewal cycle is roughly four weeks, so this is the first complete one. The look of dullness softens and light starts to sit more evenly across the cheekbones.

Why to keep going: one cycle finished. Skipping days from here restarts the cycle rather than continuing it, which is the single most common reason a serum seems to stop working.

Week 8

Two cycles in. This is usually where the look of fine lines starts to soften, and where people notice it in photographs before they notice it in the mirror.

Why to keep going: everything before now was groundwork. Two cycles is where the effect starts compounding on itself rather than starting over.

Week 12

Three cycles. Collagen is rebuilt on the skin's own schedule, not on ours, which is why the look of firmness is the last thing to arrive and the reason this is worth waiting for.

Why to keep going: at three months one bottle a month has cost you less than a single facial, and you are past the point where consistency is the variable.

What this will not do

  • It will not replace estrogen or change your hormones in any way.
  • It will not do what an injectable or an in office procedure does. Nothing in a bottle does.
  • It will not remove deep set lines. It can help skin look smoother and better hydrated.
  • It will not work faster if you use more. Two to four drops, twice daily.
  • It will not keep working once you stop, and neither will anything else in this category.
  • If you are only going to change one thing, make it daily sunscreen instead of this. We mean that.

The whole ingredient list, and what we cannot tell you

Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Propanediol, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium PCA, Polydeoxyribonucleotide, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide.

Ingredient lists run in descending order of concentration, so read that order carefully. Polydeoxyribonucleotide appears seventh, below the water and the humectants. It is present in a smaller proportion than any of them.

We do not publish a percentage, because our manufacturer does not disclose one to us and the certificate of analysis we hold does not assay for it. So we are not going to call this clinically dosed, or high potency, or any of the other phrases that get used when nobody intends to show their work. If another brand tells you its concentration, ask to see the assay. Most cannot produce one either.

The 60 Day Skin Test

You are not being asked to commit to a result. You are being asked to try it on your own face.

Sixty days, running from the day it arrives rather than the day you order. Use it properly. If any of this happens, email support@lunaire.life and we refund you.

  • It stings, or it breaks you out.
  • It pills under your makeup, or you simply do not like how it feels.
  • You have thought about it and it is not for you.

You do not need to return a part used bottle. Sixty days is deliberate rather than round: the timeline above calls week 8 the first point at which it is fair to judge, and sixty days reaches it. You get to make the decision at the point the decision is actually worth making.

Questions people actually ask

Is this tested on animals, and what is not in it?

Never tested on animals. Fragrance free, silicone free, alcohol free, and made without added fillers. Made in the USA.

Can I use it with a retinoid or an acid?

Yes. Apply this first on clean, dry skin, let it absorb for a moment, then continue with whatever you already use. If your skin is currently irritated from an acid or a retinoid, give it a few days before adding anything new.

How much do I use, and how often?

Two to four drops onto clean, dry skin, morning and night. Consistency is doing more work here than anything else, so the habit matters more than the exact count.

What if it does not suit me?

Email support@lunaire.life within 60 days of it arriving and we will refund you. You do not need to return a part used bottle.

Will you put me on a subscription?

Not from this page. The button above adds a single bottle, one time. A subscription exists if you want one later, and it is something you would have to choose deliberately.
