Lunaire Puts a Capsule in Its Skincare Routine: 500 mg of NMN, the One Step That Works From the Inside

The product page puts it this way: "Three of the four Lunaire steps go on your skin. This is the one that does not. One capsule with breakfast, 500mg of pure NMN, a direct NAD+ precursor supporting the cellular energy the renewing itself runs on."
NMN, beta-nicotinamide mononucleotide, is the direct precursor the body uses to make NAD+, a coenzyme every cell uses to make energy. Each Lunaire capsule holds 500 mg of it.
The capsule has five ingredients and the page names all of them, under the heading "Exactly what is in the bottle, with nothing hidden." They are NMN, a plant-derived capsule shell with no gelatin and no animal products, and three standard capsule ingredients, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate. The page adds: "All three are printed on the label."
The capsule is taken once a day, in the morning, with or without food. Thirty capsules are a thirty-day supply, the same thirty days as the serum, the hyaluronic acid serum and the moisturizer that make up the rest of the ritual, so the four run out together and reorder as one.
